Friends of Saranac River Trail 2016 Planning Meeting
Reminder that we'll be meeting from 4-5 PM on Tuesday, April 19 2016 in the Community Room at City Hall to plan Friends events for 2016. Bring your ideas, requests, comments (and yourself!). This is shaping up to be a pivotal year in our Saranac River Trail as we prepare to connect the segment from Peace Point Park on the Lake to City Hall Place with the segment from the SUNY Campus to the Saranac Street Bridge on Pine Street. Engineering is underway now for the replacement of the Saranac Street Bridge as well as for the new Durkee Street bridge across the Saranac River. Funding is in place, and construction is planned for 2017. Hope you can join us. If you can't, feel free to pass along suggestions to info@saranacrivertrail.org.
