Whether you are new to the hobby, or you are a pro, this is a great opportunity to learn more and meet others with similar interests. Together, with Dr. Burgess, you will enjoy seeing the many returning migrants and year-round resident birds of Saranac River Trail.
Dr. Michael B. Burgess is an Assistant Professor of Biological Sciences at SUNY Plattsburgh, where he teaches botany courses and is the Director of the PLAT herbarium and SUNY Plattsburgh greenhouse.His research focuses on the systematics and evolution of Amelanchier, floristics of northeastern North America, and wild edible and medicinal plants.
